2021 will be a significant year in consolidating FPEmpresa VET Schools Association’s firm commitment towards the internationalization of its activity. The Association will take an active part in three very enriching and international: SCoopConSS project, PRALINE project and five KA107 Erasmus+ mobilities. This internationalization goes beyond delete the EU borders, since the five KA107 Erasmus+ mobilities will be carried out in locations such as Continental China, Hong Kong and Thailand.
SCoopConSS (Social Cooperative Contest for Secondary Schools) is a project co-financed by the EU under the framework of the Horizon2020 fund. It is developed by six organizations from four different countries: Italy, Croatia, Greece and Spain. In order to participate in this international initiative, teachers and their teams of 4-5 students have been selected. 8 FPEmpresa centres and 2 secondary school centres are being represented. The 8 associated centres are: IES Clara Del Rey, IES Puertas del Campo, EFA La Malvesia, Cooperativa De Enseñanza José Ramón Otero, IES Pedro de Tolosa, IES Ángel Corella, C.D.P Atlántida CIDEP e IES Francisco Tomás y Valiente. The idea is to conceptualize and design a social cooperative and to foster entrepreneurship among students. The winning Spanish team will have the opportunity to go to Perugia next September to present its proposal, along with the other countries’ winning teams.
PRALINE, acronym for its name Promoting Adult Learning in Networks, has been presented under the frame of the Erasmus+ programme, within Key Action 3: Support for policy reform. It is made up of 13 partners from 12 different countries and its general objective is to strengthen the already existing transnational networks of adult education providers via mutual learning, peer counselling and capacity building. More specifically, to foster and consolidate EUproVET, a network born in 2009, that originated from a Leonardo da Vinci project funded by the EU. This network aims to promote corroborative working in order to support strategies that strengthen adult education and learning in the participating countries.
The five KA107 Erasmus+ mobilities will be an excellent platform to exchange good practices and innovative methodologies in the field of VET
They are also a great opportunity to strengthen our connection with the participating countries; during these mobilities, participants will be able to observe first-hand what VET looks like in locations such as Hong Kong, Thailand or Continental China.
These three projects are currently being implemented and they represent an added value to our already active membership in EfVET (European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and in WFCP (World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics).
